The UTPA Office of Career Services would like to extend an invitation to be a sponsor in our 2013-2014 Externship and Job Shadowing Program that will take place the week of March 10 – 14, 2014.
An externship or job shadowing experience allows a student to spend a set period of time observing a professional on the job. Such experiences are unpaid and are generally not for academic credit.
In participating in our externship and job shadowig program, you may host one or more UTPA student(s) for two to five days and provide a detailed externship description.
During this experience, you will provide student insigt regarding your profession and give them the opportunity to experience a typical workday in your company/profession.
