Business Location

What motivated you to start this business?

I was tired of being an employee with great ideas and suggestion that were never taken seriously. I am smart and I am capable of running a growing business. I also wanted to prove to myself that I can do things and they flourish under my own hands.

What is the history of your business?

My mother Nilda Paxman was the one that started the business after we moved to Texas from California in 2003.

She had just retired from eBay and wanted to move back to her home state to be with her parents. After a month or so from retirement, she was bored and went out to find employment. Neither one of us could find work at the time as were overqualified, so she started looking into home-based business opportunities.

She ended up finding a balloon stuffing machine on eBay and it piqued her interest. When she purchased two machines, they came with balloons, plush toys, and all the accessories to start making a stuffed gift in a balloon. After we started to play with the kits, my mother started doing some research and found a community within the industry.

We began to invest in our education by attending seminars and conventions to learn all the amazing art we could do with balloons. We knew together we could make this business work and flourish here in the Rio Grande Valley.

What product/special services do you offer?

We are your one stop shop for all your party needs! We build and deliver balloon decorations and sculptures.

We also have tableware and pinatas which we can deliver for you as well. We work with other businesses to get customers cakes and cookies, as well as rental tables and chairs.

Would you like a Happy Birthday yard sign set up as well? No problem! We have you covered.

What makes your business product/service standout from the rest?

Our outstanding customer service is our #1 priority! We want to make sure all your needs and wants are met with top quality products. Your life will be stress free when you use our services, just sit back and we will take care of everything!

As a small business owner, what does business means to you?

For us it is the personal touch we provide with filling the needs of our customers.

We see our customers as our friends and family and will treat you as such. If we see our products will not meet your needs then we have no problem pointing you in the direction of another option or another business.

We do not see our customers as a potential sale, but as a friend who needs our help and knowledge to best fit their needs.

Are you involved in any initiatives that give back to the community? If so, please elaborate.

We always try to help out where we can. We work with schools and charities and offer discounts or services free of cost.

We have worked with several organizations such as March of Dimes, Capable Kids, RGV Food Bank, Choose to Change Foundation, P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter, Keep McAllen Beautiful, and others.

We also help by promoting responsible use and disposal of our latex and foil balloons. We don’t condone or participate in any event that will release latex or foil balloon out into our environment.
