InnovationTX
InnovationTX is an accelerator program that supports entrepreneurs through continued education, resources and access to capital.
The program helps entrepreneurs in all levels of growth to maximize their full potential through commercialization, innovation and resiliency resources. Program participants can fall under one of three phases:
- P1: Discover Phase
- P2: Incubation Phase
- P3: Acceleration Phase
Entrepreneurs who complete the InnovationTX program are encouraged to apply for Demo Day event for capital attainment opportunities.

1 Million Cups
1 Million Cups is a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in communities around the world.
Each month, 1 Millions Cups (1MC) program offers two local entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their startups to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors and business owners.
During a six-minute presentation, entrepreneurs talk about their business journey and the current challenges they are facing. This is followed by a Q&A where the community can share their feedback. This allows participants to gain insight for possible ways of improving their business and connecting with a community that cares about their progress.
1MC is FREE and OPEN to the community. It takes place the second Wednesday of the month from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, 1200 Ash Ave. McAllen, Texas 78501.

McAllen Food Park
The McAllen Food Truck Park is designed to provide incubation for entrepreneurs in achieving their goal of developing a brick-and-mortar restaurant, test their menu and hone their skills.
The McAllen Food Park program is designed to help small independent food entrepreneurs test their services in the marketplace.
McAllen Food Park has 12 food trucks and is located on 10 N. Broadway St., McAllen, Texas 78501.
VirtualPlace
VirtualPlace is a program designed for businesses who do not have a brick-and-mortar establishment.
For a flat fee, participants can use the McAllen Creative Incubator first floor, have a local phone line and a mailbox where they can receive mail.

$475,320
Grant Funding Awarded
Since 2007, the McAllen Chamber of Commerce has awarded $475,320 in grant funding to more than 50 local entrepreneurs through the Innovation Grant Awards program.
The program, which was competition based, awarded up to $10,000 to encourage product innovation and business creation in the McAllen region.
