Going on its second year, the McAllen Art & Film Festival is a competitive festival created to pay tribute to art, film and fashion. The Festival seeks to discover and support artists who wish to tell a story through the visual images. The Art Festival showcases over 160 artists from the around the US and throughout Mexico. This year, the Art Festival will debut the addition of the Local Designers Fashion Showcase. The runway-show will feature an array of top-notch collections created by local fashion designers and will showcase them as art installations after the show.
The Film Festival will screen various genres of selected independent films from around the country. In seeking new ideas, the Festival provides the community opportunities to discover original thoughts and unique perspectives from around the world.
